Easy care, tough perennial has narrow green leaves, red stems, and bright yellow and red, 2 inch flowers at the end of each stem. Stays in bloom almost all year in Southern CA, with heaviest showing in Summer. Full sun to light shade. Grows 18 inches tall and spreads widely (up to several feet if not contained) through rhizomes. Great with low water, but can be invasive with more water and forms a dense ground cover.
Originally from Mexico. 1-2 ft High. Spreading Width, Sun or Shade. May be Poisonous to livestock or humans. Hardy to 20 degrees F.
