Mexican Feather Grass (Nassella tenuissima)
Full Sun, low water (once established only occasional watering),
Lovely, airy, delicate leaves and small, light colored flowers move gracefully in breezes. Will reseed and is nice for ground cover on slopes or flat areas. Also good in Rock Gardens; will grow happily next to sedums or asters, herbaceous. Forms clumps about 1-2 feet tall and about the same width. About 30 inches tall when blooming in the summer. Definitely water wise and low maintenance.
