Callistemon Little John (Dwarf Bottlebrush)
Dwarf Bottlebrush is a wonderful plant for low-water gardening and low-care gardening. Tough and almost indestructible perennial with bright red flower clusters. Easy to grow, but starts slow. 3-5 feet high and 4-5 feet wide, it doesn't ask for much water and attracts bees and hummingbirds. It is one tough plant! Hardy to 25 degrees in clay, rocks, poor soil or good soil. Deadheading is not necessary, but remove spent flowers to encourage additional blooming.
Callistemon prefers full sun, but will take half day shade and will adapt to rock gardens, wall crevices, slopes, flat areas. Drought tolerant, it prefers low water, but will take moderate water or regular water.
Free delivery in Orange County only. We do not ship plants outside Orange County, California due to weather, shipping service handling, and cost considerations.
