Vinca Minor (Dwarf Periwinkle / Myrtle)
Vinca minor (Vinca major has larger leaves and flowers): Vinca Minor is a 4-6 in. high, runner-spreading ground cover perennial flowering plant that can stay in a hanging basket or cover a slope or another flat area. It hangs nicely over walls, prefers part sun to full shade, but can take full sun. It can spread very quickly with heavier water. Blue, purple, white or blended five-petal flowers are decorative and stand out above the deep green foliage. This can be a rampant grower and is perfect for covering those difficult-to-fill hillsides found in so many Orange County gardens. Clay soil, rocky soil, poor soil and good soil are all fine. Average to light water and very tough grower.
Please remember that not all sizes are available at any given time.
